Custom made Bar for Lakeside Café
Here we have pictures of a lovely Custom-made Bar for the Lakeside Café at Wylands Farm in Battle, the owners and the manager commissioned MGR to design and build this 10ft x 5ft U-shaped Bar with access point ,under counter shelf and storage area for their upstairs event/entertainment area where they will hold parties & special occasions like wedding receptions etc, we are really proud of the finished result and hope everyone gets lots of use from it in years to come as well as creating some life long memories of their special days.

Bespoke Toy Box
These returning customers asked me to create a large Toy Box for her two boys, she gave me the sizes she wanted it to be and a rough sketch of how she would like it to be, and MGR then set out designing it and creating it for the customer, the size was to be approximately 1400mm in length x 400mm depth x 500mm high, as you can see from the photos it came out well and the customers and their boys absolutely love it.
Now all they needs to do is paint it in their chosen colour/colours and it will be a fully finished Toy Box. Enjoy
Renovation of a customers old 14 x 8 Reverse Apex Shed.
The customer contacted us as their shed was in desperate need of some TLC, so we went and viewed the building for the customer and explained to the customer what MGR could do for them and the cost involved for the repair work.
And they was very happy for MGR to do the work.
As you can see there was extensive work required including restructuring 18 inches of the base of the building, repairing the doors, re-felting & retrimming the roof and body of the building, including adding some diagonal bracing inside to stop the building from racking and then finally giving it a nice fresh coat of protection.
Creating a Garden Trellis Screen for a customer.
The customer contacted MGR after hearing about us through another company, they were looking for someone that could create a screen across their garden using materials they already had at their disposal so MGR popped along to their home and discussed with them what they was looking to create in more detail. After surveying the area for the trellis work and informing the customer of the cost for the work they were very happy for us to continue and complete the work for them.
As you can see this meant digging out and levelling parts of the area for the trellis work & posts. After which we set out working on the design and setup of the job.
By the end of the job, when the customer saw the end result she was extremely happy and very impressed with what we had achieved, with what was basically waste materials they had gathered together.
Installation of a customers 18 x 5 Pent Shed
We were contacted by this customer through our Bark.com account after they had been informed we had looked at their request on there, so we sent a quote to them after we gathered more information regarding the building they had brought from a company,
We informed them that MGR would be happy to install their garden building at the cost of the install. They came back to us within an hour or so to accept our quote, they informed us that they had someone that had done a nice flat & level base for the building to go on which was a great start. When we got there we found the access was very good and the base was perfect for the building so we got to work, even though there were a few issues with the manufactured panel but we worked around those and got the job done for the customer, the customer was very happy with the completed job.
The Bespoke Log Cabin Garden Room Bar
This customer contacted me directly by phone after a friend of mine showed them some work I had created for myself, they were looking for someone that could make a Bar to go in their Log Cabin Garden Room. They explained to us about their idea of making it so it fitted in with the interlocking design of their Log Cabin and I loved this idea and was happy to give them my advice and knowledge regarding the 5 point interlocking system, after we had worked out a suitable size ( 9ft by 5ft ) I worked out how long it would take to make it and the cost, which the customer did not bat an eye over, and just asked when could I start working on it for them, I said straight away which they were very happy to hear. So I set out sourcing the materials and milling them to the sizes required.
As you can see the end result speaks for itself, and once it was installed the customer was extremely impressed with the work produced by MGR.
The Sweetie Cart
This was a custom built Sweetie Cart for a customers daughters christening once MGR had designed and built it we showed the customer who absolutely loved it.
This was a big hit with all the children at the their daughters christening as you could imagine.
A cart full of sweeties for them to eat who wouldn't love it.
Octagonal Summerhouse Repair & Upgrade
The customer contacted us after another company had given them our details as they needed the windows and doors re-aligned as the building had tilted to one side. So we went to view what was required, which worked out more challenging than the customer had realised as the reason for the windows and doors going out of mis-alignment was due to the floor subframe decaying on one side. So after explaining to the customer that it requires a complete new floor area, the customer asked MGR to make a floor that would last a lifetime so that is exactly what we did, it was a lot of work taking the building down replacing the floor and subframe with a new composite framework with stainless steel bracket system so it lasted, and then re-installing the building on the new floor exactly how it was at the beginning, then giving the whole building a fresh coat of protection.
As you can see it turned out well and the customer was very happy with the results and has asked us to come back and re-new the cedar shingles on the roof next year for them which we are looking forward to completing for them.
